    theres no way that a grass fire started a blaze like that!!! unless they hadn’t had any precipitation for a year.. holy crap!

      everything was really, really dry when this happened, I think it didn’t rain for a few weeks maybe

    Yes, it is quite possible.  There was a huge grass fire close to me last week and the ground was still sopping wet from the melting snow!
