Covert Carpet Drawings

carpet

My kids know by now not to write on walls, furniture, etc.  So this time, when they found a stray marker, they hid under the dining room table to express themselves artistically. Sad part is, I don’t even know how long the carpet was like that!

Those are the worst drawings to find! They could have done it months ago and then how do you explain to them that they shouldn’t do this when they likely have forgotten that they did it 🙁

I have had many carpet drawings. They even tried using a pencil to make a sharper line. Found my 7 year old outlining the flowers on her carpet with a marker not that long ago.

Try Resolve Foam Carpet Cleaner, Spot Shot, or get something called an OOPS! pen.  It took sharpie out of my cream colored couch and didn’t take the color out.

I guess they haven’t yet learned the concept of sweeping things *under* the rug.

we had a hole in the living room carpet under the coffee table from when the dog was a puppy.  when my son was about 3 or 4, he got fingernail polish and painted the concrete “circle” when we pulled up the carpet, there was a huge red circle in the middle of the living room 🙂

Did you check the underside of the dining room table?  If not, you may want to.
