Rings down the toilet scare…

Photo0976[1]

I took my (expensive) rings off and placed them on the window ledge next to the toilet before giving my dog a bath. A couple hours later I remembered that I left them there, went into the bathroom to find them GONE! Trying not to panic, I asked my 3 year old if he knew where mommy’s rings were, he replied “in the toilet”. After having my boyfriend tear off the toilet in a mad attempt to find my rings, many tears later, my son walks up to me with my rings and says “here you go mommy”. He had them hiding in his room behind his curtain!!!! UGH I will NOT be taking my rings off again!

At least put them where little sticky three-year-old fingers can’t find them!  I have a three-year-old (almost) as well and she can find just about anything!  Scary situation and I’m glad it worked out for you…

Are kids these days smarter than their parents?!?!

Oh how could you be so mad at the little guy after knowing your rings were safe all along.  You probably wanted to hug him and scold him all at the same time.  I guess he has you wrapped around your finger or in this case “his thumb”. LOL!

Btw, by “mad attempt” I meant “crazy wild” !  I was more devastated than anything and was so thankful I couldnt be mad!

I’m quaking with fear my first son is due 11-13-11.  I should not subject myself to these horrors, but I can’t pry myself away either.

This happened to me!  My 2 1/2 year old took all of my earrings from the bathroom and told me he threw them down the drain.  We tore the sink apart and guess what?  No earrings!  We found them hidden in a shoe in the bathroom!  Little turd!

Trolled by a three year old indeed! Oh my goodness, what a little prankster!! I love how he waited until you were in total panic mode and had the toilet torn apart to go “here they are!”

In my house, our bathroom and bedroom doors stay closed…otherwise I don’t even want to imagine the destruction that would occur!! lol
