While I Worked from Home

Long story short. No sitter, working from home, my 3 year old (Kaitlyn) comes into the office saying “Sara got the sun cream!” My 1.5 year old had gotten into her diaper bag. As you can see she is WELL protected on %50 of her body. I guess she wanted to take the kitten outside with her as she managed a good amount on the cat’s face as well as herself, the floor, her favorite toy, a random toy bag, the bathroom door, more floor, the tub a few towels and a wash cloth. The cat will not come near people at the moment, this is the only picture I could get before it went into hiding.

As for Kaitlyn (not pictured) she managed to get into Petroleum jelly not once but twice in two days, and the next day jumped into a large puddle of motor oil as if it where a mud puddle. It hadn’t rained in weeks.

haha – my 6 year old used nearly a whole bottle of continuous spray sunscreen to coat the dishes in the dishwasher -they were clean, btw, and spray sunscreen dries mostly clear but tastes bitter, very bitter! FTR – it doesn't wash out very easily – 10 washes later and it was mostly gone from the dishwasher. It came off glass, ceramic and metal items but all the plastics were pretty much ruined.

i swear to god this could EASILY be my 3 year old daughter…the sofa/couch look like ours (neutral colors that hide dirt easily)…we had a pop-up tent just like the “creamed” one…and my daughter would do JUST EXACTLY the same thing. and to the cat. only my daughter would have eaten it. :-/

lol!! That is too funny. When I was little, my mom told me I snuck in the bathroom at my aunts house and put bengay all over her cat and myself..

I don't have kids, but almost every single kid I know has done something of this nature. I don't know what it is about creams, lotions, and the like that attracts kids! lol.
