The same thing happened to me… I tried baby oil, cocoa butter, palmer's everything and it just seemed that nature was against me.

Your stretch marks are beautiful. You carried a PERSON in there!!!!

Believe it or not, cooking oil like vegetable oil does wonders.. my stretch marks were all gone.. then i just had another baby.. more corn oil please!

  • Kristina Coelho

I told some women about it at work and it’s working for them too.. it’s the vitamin E in the oil that helps

Yeah I did one half with, and one half without lotion. BAM! It worked. So from one side I look hot and the other side, wellll from one side I look HOT!

I did nothing, no cocoa butter, no lotion of any kind since my skin is so sensitive.  I figured I’d look like a road map.  Shockingly I didn’t end up with one mark, before or after, and I was big as a house.  Flappy, empty skin and a big c-section scar, yes, but no stretch marks.  I agree with many posts here though, they’re a beautiful reminder!  I call my scar “Logan’s Door”. lol

Try Mederma..It worked for me by removing the redness and shrinking the lines, theyll never go away for good without cutting them off but really…nothing really works in the end. Lasers I heard can help but thats a lot of money for something so seemingly trivial.

Oh sorry had to add…you got them on the bottom…your good to go girl!!!  just buy monokinis and put scar cream on them now! before you know it youll barely see them 😀

A mark for every breath you took, every blink, every sleepy yawn. One
for every time you sucked your thumb, waved hello, closed your eyes and slept in the most perfect darkness. One for every time you had the hiccups. One for every dream you dreamed within me.

It isn’t very pretty anymore. Some may even think it ugly. That’s OK. It was your home. It’s where I first grew to love you, where I lay my hand as I dreamed about who you were and who you would be. It held you until my arms could, and for that, I will always find something beautiful in it.

I feel your pain except mine are up higher, it looks like a street map around my navel and up above it, sigh.

I used Olay Quench for both children, because that is my daily lotion. Not a single stretch mark. If only it woulda saved me from those stitches down there…

My kid waiting until the last week to explode and then give me stretch marks.

  • Amy Munn

Amen to to that! I used to be flat as a board! now after two 10 pound kids my stomach is several flats and a boarding house.

Psht, please.  If you’re prone to stretch marks, NOTHING is going to work.  I used vitamin E, cocoa butter, Bio-Oil, any kind of oil I thought might work (including EVOO), even Udder Cream.  NOTHING works.  If you’re going to get them, you’ll get them.  Everyone in my family has them, both sides.  Two pregnancies and lots of money on stretch mark preventive/remover later, and my stomach is a solid mass of stretch marks.

I am vacationing on Captiva Island wearing my one-piece bathing suit (because of the stretch marks) and looking at some Mom’s in their bikinis and silently swearing at them!

Im sorry, but I currently know of someone who is smoking cigarettes to prevent stretch marks. Would you have had smoked to have a perfect belly? Why are you complaining about such thing?! I have them too.. My kid points at them; and I tell her it is proof that she was one healthy little peanut.. 🙂
